Analog Video Surveillance
Analog video technology has been the standard method of operation since the inception of CCTV and is
most commonly used because of its affordability.
Although the CCTV paradigm of technology is readily evolving to IP based video wherever broadband
Internet is accessible, there are still many instances in which analog video is the most attractive solution.
For smaller applications where there is no need for a large video surveillance network, and when video
images do not need to be accessed via Internet, analog video surveillance is the most ideal solution.
IP Based Video Surveillance
IP technology is the next step forward in surveillance systems. IP-based streaming video surveillance lets
organizations monitor, prevent and/or respond to emergency situations more effectively and affordably via
the Internet.
At the same time, the technology allows law enforcement, security companies and other emergency
personnel to prepare better and respond more fully to emergencies. Thus, the physical safety of a
company's vital human and business assets is far more secure and protected.
IP based surveillance equipment is quickly becoming the preferred equipment mode for business and
schools. Unlike CCTV solutions, IP based surveillance equipment can deliver secure real-time images of an

In a nutshell, IP surveillance uses a company's existing network and Internet technology to transmit images
